Website Design

New Site, New Look, Same Idea.

The new site is in its final stretches of being completed. We are very pleased with the new look and hope that you will be as well. The primary reason for the new site was to showcase our design abilities. As the web approaches the era of Web 2.0, we believe a design company should be right there alongside the changes, ready to embrace the new look and feel. We have a few more reasons that we created the new site, and I feel that I should share a few of them.

More and Better Descriptive Content

Our old site had very little content. It had enough to say “Hey, we are a hosting company that does website design as well!” While this did suffice in the early stages of the company, it did not fully express what we were capable of. Our designers and coders are constantly growing in skill and ability, and the company now has the ability to create not only beautiful websites, but power web applications as well.

Blog and Up to Date News

One of the most important things expressed in Web 2.0 is blogging. Blogs have been around for quite some time now, but company blogs are a relatively new thing. Company blogs are a way for a consumer to feel like they personally know the company. Another thing we wanted to address was a News delivery system that stayed on top of the company news. With our new database driven website, we are able to keep everything up to date easily.

Open Source Download Section

All of us at 2Real Media love the idea of Open Source, and the fact that it has saved us an immense amount of work along the way. So we are going to strive to release a good portion of the applications we write to other developers under the GCC License.

So I hope this gives you a better idea of the reasons for the new look and feel of the site. We hope that it is easier for you to find the information you need.
